The CIGRE NZ 2020 Conference formally opens 1 pm, 5th August (conference Day 1) at the Hilton on the Auckland CBD waterfront. Aligned to our Conference theme, CIGRE International speakers will present on general and specific CIGRE International Study Committees. A panel session follows with New Zealand leaders in the power sector who drive strategy, policy, innovation and technology.

The morning of Day 1 (preceding the opening) has the A2 Power Transformers and Reactors, and B1 Insulated Cables Panel sessions hosted at ETEL and TransNet respectively. These are closed sessions for Panel members and CIGRE members who would like to join the panel.

Day 2 is hosted by the University of Auckland at their Newmarket Engineering campus, Khyber Pass Road. We have A2 and B1 open attendee symposiums, followed by Conference Technical presentations sessions, and then Next Generation Network (U35 age) and Women in Engineering sessions. All genders and ages are invited to the NGN and WiE sessions.
