How to join
There is a range of membership packages for students, younger members, individuals, and larger organisations. CIGRE membership is open to all individuals, companies and organisations across five categories.
The annual fees below include the required CIGRE Central Office capitalisation fee paid by all International CIGRE National Committee. The fees have no GST component as CIGRE is a not-for-profit organisation.
Individual member – Industry : $230 NZD
Individuals involved in the Industry
Individual member – Under35 : $100 NZD
Individuals under age of 35, for two years.
Individual member – Student : Free
Free membership is offered for full time tertiary students (of any age) for the first two years of membership.
To be eligible for student membership you must send a copy of your enrolment and student ID to the CIGRE NZNC Acting Membership Manager at Vaughan.evans@plp.com
Collective member IA : $1,870 NZD
Public or private large companies, including power system transmission and distribution utilities, scientific and technical organisations, research Institutes and administrative bodies.
Collective member IB : $1,640 NZD
Public or private companies with less than 500 employees, including power system transmission and distribution utilities, scientific and technical organisations, research Institutes and administrative bodies.
Collective member II : $830 NZD

Payments need to be made to our Kiwibank account 38 9006 0195153 00 by Internet bank transfer or by making payment at your local Kiwibank/NZ Post branch.
Companies may raise a Purchase Order against which a CIGRE NZ Tax Invoice will be raised to allow the annual membership fee transaction to be completed by your company.
